During the registration process with us, we do require a number of details, some of which are personal to which include but are not limited to

We will only ever collect this information directly from yourself which is inclusive of via email, postal, telephone or text directly from you. We do not accept any communications from un-registered email addresses and will never buy or sell this information to or from another source.
We will never use your information outside of reason, it is used for purposes such as bookings, to provide support and understanding of your current position and to understand distances for travel time purposes. The information we gather is only ever given to companies once your authorisation is given to do so. These are limited to pharmaceutical business providers or independent pharmacies with your consent ie. we would not give any of your details to a company until you have filed in, signed and returned the registration form provided by each company, back to us. Aside from this we would only ever share your data in the cases of a higher authorities request for example if we are under a duty of care or disclosure to a government authority. We ensure that any data that is shared is done so correctly and under a professional basis and those who it is given to are required also to maintain the confidentiality of the details. We may use the data to protect and/or defence the rights and property of Preferred Locums Ltd.
All data that is held by ourselves in reference to all locums that work through our agency is handled with the upmost security. All details are stored within a secure system and database that is only accessible by authorized members of staff, we use the highest quality security systems to ensure that your data is kept as safe and secure as possible. We do not condone any unauthorized access and we have strict rules which must be followed at all times during the gaining, handling, storing and removal of all data. Your data goes through somewhat of a journey when with us and if you ever choose to leave us, the data is stripped and removed in line with quality standards after a reasonable timescale has passed. After this timescale only basic information or coding is kept for record purposes.
You can withdraw your consent at any given time during either the registration process or during your time working through our agency by contacting us in any of the ways stated below.
We will request that you give reasonable time and notice when requesting a withdrawal of consent as if you are an active locum with us, any future bookings may be cancelled due to confidentiality restrictions. Once a full clean of data has been removed there will be the minimum left behind for the sake of records and to ensure in the future that no duplicates are created. We are also required to keep a minimal amount of data (ie your name, reg number and any past bookings) for invoicing purposes and in line with the Data protection Act 1998 At any point you will have the right to request a copy of the details we store about you, update or alter any details we have about you due to changes in circumstances or anything that appears to be incorrect. We ask that any changes to your personal details are updated with us as quickly as possible to avoid any potential issues when invoicing.
